Again, a summer break. Oh, what to do? Maybe I will start a blog!!! So, I log on to what seems familiar... from somewhere... to find, I already started a blog! Back in 2009, I decided the same venture for my life as I am today. And so, will it end the same? A 3 year, too late Christmas card? Maybe I should log off now, giving myself a goal to once again return and tell you of the life I have lived over the past 3 years (there is some pretty exciting stuff.)

What else can I do...

...when all I have left to do is homework? Well, here is my answer. I will join the rest of the blogging world. Who knows at this point how much I will catch on to writing my feelings and events in my life.

I have to admit I have huge hope for 2009 and the love, happiness, and joy my family, friends and I will experience. Creating a blog would be a great kick off to be prepared for the blessings of the year.

After a couple years of reading my writing role model, Daisy's, blog entries, I can only aspire to be as interesting as hers. I do regret to admit I feel as though I know Daisy's stories and have her positive influence in my life but I have not had a conversation with her since, well Vallivue School District orientation. That conversation is one of those that is just always on the book. Same time, same place, another year. I see her beautiful face, her comical husband, collect my hugs, rest assured life is nothing but kind, and move on to hear the "almost the same" inspirational speech by our tall, passionate superintendent George Grant. Then it is off to the classroom that is never ready no matter how many times I came in over the summer. Basically, I do not want a blog to replace the valuable conversations and face time I am blessed to have with so many kind souls.

Here is where I stand in life at this point:
I live in Nampa, Idaho. I moved here four years ago and LOVE it. I teach first grade at an awesome elementary school with a principal that has been an inspiration and positive role model for me. I am working on my Master's degree in Educational Adminsitration with an expected completion date of February 2010 (unless any other last minutesummer treks get in the way). I experienced a summer backpacking trip through Latin America with my fabulous roommate, Alicia last summer. We trekked from Mexico City, south into Guatemala, east to the Carribean, north up through Belize, and flew home from Cancun. It was a fantastic trip which I have dreamt of for years. I found many places in which I long to return. The culture in Latin America is rich and hospitable and carries a positive energy. I wish I could be immersed in it more.

About two years ago, I met the man I never thought existed. Thank God for never letting me settle! Kacey is truly a blessing in my life. We share many passions and enjoy the bliss we obtain through our passions. Kacey has found a career in manufacturing. His expertise was originally design, but his passion is making his creative ideas come to life using big, dangerous, expensive machines. He is the shop manager at a local manufacturing company. The company's steak and potatoes right now is family stickers, but Kacey works with wood and metal products.

Okay, this is sounding more like an extremely late Christmas card. That was not the intention. Keep checking back for more updates!
